About Hamsterball

Hamsterball is a award-wininng game from Raptisoft.

Take control of a hamster in a ball and get set to run the craziest race of your life! But be careful, because the clock is ticking and everything is out to stop you!

"Ages ago, the staff of Raptisoft stumbled upon a Marble Madness machine in a video arcade. It was love at first sight.

Hamsterball Gameplay

We never understood why nobody ever put out sequels to Marble Madness, or made a 3D version, or made a version for windows! Eventually, we decided to do it ourselves! Hamsterball takes the spirit of Marble Madness and brings it into the next century!" - Raptisoft.

[file:///C:/Program%20Files/GameHouse%20Games%20Collection/Hamsterball/readme.html#top Sound: you must have a DirectX® certified sound card installed.]

[file:///C:/Program%20Files/GameHouse%20Games%20Collection/Hamsterball/readme.html#top Video: you must have your desktop set to 16-bit or 32-bit color mode (256 Colors may not work).]

TROUBLESHOOTING / COMPATIBILITY [file:///C:/Program%20Files/GameHouse%20Games%20Collection/Hamsterball/readme.html#top [back to top] ]

DirectX®

Hamsterball requires you to have DirectX® 8 drivers or later installed. These are sound and video drivers from Microsoft used in many games. If you need the latest version of DirectX®, go to www.microsoft.com/directx.

Screen Color Depth

Hamsterball requires you to be running in 16-bit color or better. It may not function in windowed mode properly in 256 Colors. If you are running in 256 Colors, the game will try to switch to full-screen mode.

In addition, the game may run slowly in windowed mode in 32-bit color. If this occurs, switch to full-screen mode, or change your color depth to 16-bits.

Bug Reporting

Though we've tried our best to squash all the bugs, every once in a while something we didn't expect pops up...

If you should come across a bug in Hamsterball, please report it!

If for some reason the program crashes, it will try to capture any pertinent data and give you instructions on how to send that data to Raptisoft. This is very helpful for tracking down problems!
